Here you'll find all the key dates you need to plan your year — from pre-season training and trials through to the competition draw and university holidays. Whether you're a returning player or joining us for the first time, make sure you're across these dates so you don't miss a thing. Pre-season starts on 2nd February for everyone in town. If you are arriving when the halls open, we'll see you on 9th February, 6.00pm on Ilam Fields (or as soon as you can make it).

The Draft & Open Trials for Colts age players will start on 28th February. – If you are looking to play Colts rugby this year, you'll need to be available to register and play on this day. – Registrations will be conducted on the morning of 28th February, so be ready for a massive day. – Registration is via the Rugby Xplorer app — stay tuned for how to start this process. – As part of the day we'll have food, drinks & entertainment available post trials.

All senior grades will commence play on Saturday 4th April. Colts grades will start on Saturday 25th April. King's Birthday weekend (1st June) will be no play for most teams. We do play Matariki weekend (10th July, this falls in the mid-year break).
