A massive congratulations to our three representatives in the New Zealand Under 20s team to tour of Australia for the Rugby Championship and, if selected again, the World Rugby U20 Championship.

Cooper Roberts: (Centre/Wing) Ex Marlborough Boys College, Cooper has already played for NZ U18’s Barbarians and NZ Universities.

Xavier Treacy: (Lock) Ex St Kevins College, Melbourne, Crusaders U20. This is Xaviers 2nd year with the club and has entered the Crusaders Academy on the back of his strong performances for UC.

Finn McLeod: (Loose Forward) Ex Christchurch Boys High School. Finn has already made the NZ Schools team. This is Finn’s first year with UC Rugby.

The Rugby Championship (TRC) Under-20 tournament that will be played in May 2024 on the Sunshine Coast. The Championship will see the up-and-coming stars of Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa rugby do battle.

The World Rugby U20 Championship 2025 will take place in Italy from 29 June-19 July. Played over five match days in the Lombardia and Veneto regions of Italy, the U20 Championship features the 12 best U20 nations competing for the world title, including New Zealand.
