After only 8 appearances and scoring 5 tries for Saracens (UK), after leaving in 2024, Fergus Burke has been named in the Scotland International squad to challenge for the Six Nations.
Fergus qualifies for Scotland through his Glasgow born grand-father, meaning he was immediately available for selection. With options to join England also, he has chosen Scotland and will battle it out with Finn Russell for the starting 10 spot.
Fergus has been a member of UC Rugby since 2018, and debuted for the Crusaders in 2020.
Like Blair Murray, Fergus can be assured that there’ll be plenty of support for him from back on Ilam Fields. We wish him all the best in his first season of international football. V’s Up!
