UC Rugby are pleased to announce that we will be continuing our rugby player academy in 2025. Our 2024 Academy saw the players go on to achieve great success during the year.

8 Players played for our Premier Men’s team, 4 Premier Women’s, 2 represented Canterbury in the Under 19 team and 2 went on to represent Canterbury FPC team.

We are looking to extend our Academy to approximately 20 – 25 players in the 2025 season and take the additional learnings from 2024 to make it even more relevant for players.
