A brand new team and a champion result!

The Rattlers are Champions on their first try. And even better they are undefeated for the season.

After forming the team for the first time, due to the unprecedented growth in our colts programme (with 5 teams), the Rattlers finished the year as they started, with a tough fought win over Lincoln University 21 – 12.

The team built a winning culture around working hard, improving the basic skills they arrived with and an unrelenting drive to succeed.

With almost all first year players, they now have the challenge to go on and move through the club into higher ranked teams or stay in this grade and go for the repeat.
