2018 Season

Background

University of Canterbury Rugby Football Club has a long history of success. Our first match was played on North Hagley Park in 1883. Since that time numbers have swelled to feature playing fifteens in almost every level of the Canterbury Metro competition. We are among the oldest and most successful clubs in New Zealand.

UCRFC currently sits as one of the top clubs in the Metro competition, with great results across the board in the 2017 season, including reaching the Finals of the Men’s and Women’s Premier Competitions.

We have real stability in our coaching ranks, with all of the top three teams in the club retaining their head coaches for the 2018 season.

Positions Available

If you’d like to be involved with our vibrant club and enjoy helping players develop their on and off field potential, please submit your application for one or more of the available positions below:

  • PREMIER – To work alongside our current Head Coach and Manager
  • Assistant Coach (Forwards)
  • Assistant Coach (Backs)
  • Assistant Managers

 

  • PREMIER RESERVE – To work alongside our current Head Coach/Forwards Coach
